The fountain behind the entry gate gurgles its welcome, an experience of entry that promises more inside. You will discover an unfussy Ralph Lauren rustic elegance with a simple palette of natural materials, antiques, collectors' paintings and artifacts depicting the scenic local area and its Native American history.
For simple meals or elaborate entertaining, the fully-appointed kitchen is well-stocked, including complementary coffee and cooking spices. Sink into down and leather couches, or cozy beds with down pillows and comforters. All closets are mirrored and the bathrooms have towels, soap, shampoo and hair dryers. There are provisions for group fun such as CDs, DVDs, and games. For a personal retreat try the reading nook in the master bedroom complete with small library.
COMFORTABLE AND ENTERTAINING The perfect antidote to a busy existence, this is an easygoing, colorful space everywhere you go. Each room has natural wood ceilings with exposed beams. Remote controlled ceiling fans with champagne glass, lit with up and down lights, assure year-round comfort. While warm and a bit rustic, this home is an entertainment delight: a 42" plasma HDTV in master bedroom, a 42" plasma HDTV with surround sound in living area and a whole-house music system with iPod hook-up and cable music channel. All light fixtures are fitted with rheostats to create a wonderful, soft glow. The saltillo tile floor flows from the interior to the pool terrace through wide-open French doors creating a seamless indoor-outdoor transition. Immediate serenity is accomplished by the comfortable interior and the way the outdoors seems to be part of the inner experience of the house. Coupled with stunning views of the rugged peaks of the San Jacinto mountains (snow-capped at times), this getaway has natural beauty inside and out.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE The long elegantly curved pool (heated October thru May, cost included) stretches across the back of the property offering privacy which cannot be matched by any hotel or condo. Plenty of deck space with patio furniture and chaises. A 5+ person, 30-jet spa with lounge and CD player is nearby. The pool side cabana is air conditioned, outfitted with cable TV, iPod speakers, and queen sofabed. Three separate outdoor conversation/dining areas provide a little quiet time from the rest of the group when desired.
